Americans are able to purchase real estate in Mexico. The protected zone includes 100 kilometers along all natural borders, 50 kilometers along coastlines, and all of Baja California. They may directly own rural or urban land in the interior of Mexico (just like real estate ownership in the US), however in th eprotected zone, a Trust Deed is requiered and incurs an annual expense.

We assist clients throughout Sonora, both for coastal properties in Rocky Point (Puerto Peñasco), San Carlos, Guaymas and Bahia Kino and inland properties in Hermosillo, Nogales, Ciudad Obregon and the historic colonial town of Alamos.
